yup. we got a bronze. after those practices, numerous auditions, and all the hard work, yes, from me too, we still got a bronze.i will never forget that moment, when everyone held hands, and the results. choir number 117,coral secondary school, Bronze. the hands loosened, SILENCE. we all left the hall and cried like siao. i did too.i dont care what you think, but i am really proud of choir. it was the best we did, im sure of that,very very sure. the fucking judges were just doing their job,so lets not kick their fucking asses. i remember leaving the stage happily, and vivian saying : " oh my god, i think im gonna cry soon " and she was smiling happily. i remember miss chan saying : " thankyou choir, so so much, i know you did you very best, im very proud of you, for now, lets wait for the good results." i remember the very happy moments before we got back the results. from the bus ride to school, to the time in the music room,to the MRT ride to VCH. almost the whole choir made the effort to train down to raffles city and walk under the HOT sun to VCH. ON OUR OWN. this would never have happened if we didnt put in our best efforts right? it hurts to see people you care for cry. 5am in the morning, i see esther in the car. i got down from my dad's car. we entered the school and esther made us honey lemon.oh,did i mention that she did not take part in the SYF? she woke up just to make us the drink and just to support us. she was the first to cry, and last to stop crying. i dont really know her, but, its really hurts to see her cry.
i never thought that i would cry, okay, maybe a little, but i cried non stop at the MRT station ytd. ms chan was shocked like siao. i think i was the last person that she thought would cry. then there was sylvia, we made each other cry. she promised me that she would get it back 2 years later :) i love you! thanks for the hugs and THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR NOT SAYING : its okay, we did our best OR saying : dont cry le lah. OMG. or worse : " are you okay? " wah lau eh.
and ms chan,thanks for the dessert and thanks for talking to us after the results and everything, i know i called you names like asshole,devil, piece of shit, monu chan, whatever shit and i hate it when you say " joanne stand properly " , BUT, i still love you.i hope the principal doesnt make you leave. I WILL WILLINGLY SIGN THE EDUSAVE FORM NOW. AND TO FABIAN LIM MRS CHEE : THANKYOU FOR THE HONEY AND BREAD AND CHOCOLATES AND WHATEVER!! FABIAN IS AN OKAY GUY AFTERALL.LOL.BUT HE IS STILL WEIRD.
OHMY,I FEEL MUCH BETTER NOW. BUT I THINK I'LL CRY TOMORROW.
I AM NOW GOING TO BED.
